A Project is Not a Project

The piece is well written and researched; however, the ideas fail to flow chronologically and coherently.  Some of the audience’s questions are not entirely answered. For instance, the piece is supposed to define what a project is; the definition portrayed gives more evidence on resources required to do a project but does not tell specifically, in the beginning, what a project is. When the definition is presented in the end, the audience has to pose and read again from the beginning having the definition in mind. The writer uses broadly developed ideas that make the piece to lose focus; the purpose of the piece is not well achieved. However, the article is well researched, and the writer uses enough evidence to support the main ideas; the facts are well presented. The presentation of the ideas is precise and involving such that, the use of well-representing examples prints a reflecting picture in the minds of the audiences, and hence gives them a profound understanding of the ideas presented by the author.

The piece is well presented, and it is informing; the ideas are well arranged and flows in a sequential manner. The author uses the guiding questions to arrange the main ideas. The questions are well answered, and this makes it easier for the audience to grasp the definition and characteristics of a project separately and then relate them to have an insightful understanding. Additionally, there is enough evidence that the purpose of the piece is achieved. However, despite all the above strengths, the piece has some weaknesses. For instance, the author uses other resources to develop the main ideas but fails to credit the sources accordingly. The last sentence of the piece is written from the author's point of view, but it is cited to Martin & Tate. Furthermore, the author is contradicting his own thoughts. For instance, there is more evidence in support than against DMBA being a project; however, the writer decides DMBA is not a project.
