The art of filming a moving picture using electromagnetic radiation, such as light, is known as cinematography (Keating 97). The choice of camera has an impact on the final product's quality. As a result, the director of photography works hard to find the best camera for the job.

Choosing the RED 8K Weapon Camera

Because of its high-resolution power, which allowed the director of photography to have complete control over every aspect of the data, the director of photography chose to use RED's 8K Weapon Camera as a formal tool for Guardians of the Galaxy volume 2. This camera was able to capture the visual and sound effects of the actors even for a whole hour to ensure that are details are captured as desired. In watching the movie, one can see how well the camera captured the emerged and rawness of the actors thus creating an innovative view of the film. In fact, the Red 8K camera has been able to build uniqueness in the filming of the movie including a raccoon and a digital tree on a digital base thus enhancing the quality of the film.
