Dr. Thomas M. Brennan

Dr. Thomas M. Brennan is a well-regarded athletic administrator who has a long career in collegiate athletics on a Division I level. He recently joined Goldey-Beacom College as the Director of Athletics. Previously, he served as Director of Athletics at La Salle University, where he helped raise athletic revenues by more than one hundred percent during the past three years. Additionally, he oversaw major improvements to the University's facilities.

In addition to coaching the wrestling team, Dr. Brennan also serves as the team's academic advisor. He has a Doctorate and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. A native of National Park, NJ, Dr. Brennan graduated from Gateway Regional High School in 1992. During his high school years, he competed in track and field and the pole vault. His academic work focuses on Intelligent Transportation Systems and Transportation Engineering.

Career as a coach

Tom Brennan has been a coach for a number of years. He has coached wide receivers at both the college and high school level. During his career, he has coached many All-American wide receivers. He has also coached players such as Markus Wheaton and James Rodgers. In addition to being a high school coach, Brennan is also an active member of the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association.

During his tenure at UVM, Brennan led the Catamounts to four consecutive seasons with 20-plus wins. He helped them win three America East titles and made it to the NCAA tournament three times. In 2005, he led UVM to a historic win over Syracuse in the NCAA tournament, clinching its first ever appearance in the tournament.

Career as a sports analyst

Tom Brennan has spent the last four decades in the sports industry. In the 1990s, he hosted a morning radio show in Burlington, Vermont, called "Corm and the Coach Show." His show won the Vermont Associated Press award for best radio sports feature in 2000 and 1996. He retired from the show in July 2008. Today, he is an analyst for SiriusXM and ESPN and speaks at various sports events.
