Hire a WriterReading books and novels has numerous benefits. It gives one an opportunity to gain access to deeply imagined lives other than our own. It also allows one to experience a complex moral situation which helps us in making sound decisions. Additionally, it enhances one's ability to learn a language. What is more, it improves one's vocabulary and increases their concentration.
Although reading has numerous benefits, as a child I never enjoyed reading anything live alone novels and books. As a child in Elementary School, I lacked enthusiasm and a zest for life. To be honest, my first acquaintance with novels was not very good. However much I promised myself that I would read books and write something about them, I realized I could not because I only enjoyed listening to my peers and teachers read stories. I always felt bad whenever my peers asked me to read with them. I felt they were bothering me. In fact, I told them reading stories would never help me in my studies. At some point in the Elementary School, I even tore a book apart because I felt disturbed whenever I was asked by people to take them through a story. Worse of all, I hated books without bright pictures.
This feeling was influenced by the observation that my language teacher by that time did not bother so much about those who did not participate in reading in class. In my mind, reading books and novels had to do with how flawless a person was because I always had some troubles reading loud without making mistakes. There is no doubt that change is the only constant in life. My fears, thoughts, and feelings about reading novels and books changed immediately I joined Grade 1. Grade 1 shaped my thoughts and feelings about reading. In Grade 1, I was lucky to meet a teacher who was interested in seeing every student read novels and books as she was. My teacher had a huge impact on me. She had a unique ability to make anyone like the book and make you want to write something about however uninteresting the book was. She would not only enjoy reading something uninteresting, but also discuss it with her class. I still remember her reading "Harold and the Purple Crayon" for us. Though she did not read the whole story for us, the way she used her tempo, intonation, and voice timber made me run to the school library to go and look for that story immediately after classes.
I began developing an interest in reading, and after that incident, I could not wait to be asked by my peers and teachers to read or even write about a particular story. My language teacher made me understand that everything needs constant improvement. Two weeks later, our teacher of English came with a new book, and she addressed it to me. She told me that I would enjoy reading it as I had started developing some interest in reading and discussing books. At first, I was tensed because I could not understand why she decided to choose me. However, I convinced myself that I enjoy reading. And it turned out to be my truth, today I love reading anything readable, and I am considered to be a real linguist and a bookworm. Today I not only read novels and books but also magazines and newspapers. In my class today, I am considered to be the most fluent student in spoken and written language.
After Grade 1, I became addicted to reading and analyzing stories. Whenever I read, I made short notes from the stories. It reached a point where my brain demanded a different story every week. There is no doubt in arguing that whenever you read a lot, your way of thinking unconsciously changes based on the type of book or story you read. I read a lot of books until it affected the way I communicated with friends, teachers, peers, and even parents. Everyone started referring to me as the best language student. I am even shocked that some of them consult me concerning writing compositions and essays.
Initially, I had trouble concentrating on writing essays and compositions. However, books greatly impacted how I wrote compositions later in life. By the time I reached the Seventh Grade, I wanted to write more and more compositions even if I was not asked to do so. I wanted to write more so that I could improve my writing and speaking skills. I am still grateful to that teacher who made me adore reading. From her, I learned how to correctly express your thought in spoken and written language. I also learned how and where to use intonation and stress when reading a story. Additionally, I learned how and where to emphasize on the help of literary devices. I have understood that everything requires continuous upgrading. I still have numerous novels, newspapers, and magazines which I am planning to read. I have so many thoughts that I want to record and so much to share with the entire globe.
