My Passion for Public Health

I'm passionate about working in public health

and helping people with their different health issues all over the world. I am mostly concerned about issues like air, sea, and land pollution, the lax application of morals and ethics governing genetic engineering, and the insufficient availability of essential vaccines like polio vaccines in some emerging nations worldwide. Giving hope to those who have terminal illnesses, helping the human species create a clean and safe environment, and helping people recover from their illnesses are all things I enjoy doing. Throughout my education journey, I have been ardent about research and studies carried out in the field of science. My interest in mathematics and sciences has helped me explore different studies that have been conducted by renowned scholars on the subject of public health and new ways of improving the quality of human kind. My academic scores on the subject of mathematics and sciences have remained high throughout my academic life. I am interested in becoming a dentist in the field of public health, to assist people with various dental problems and diseases.

My father inspired me to become a public health professional

He comes from Cuba where he worked as a doctor and worked to his level best to assist as many people as possible. He dedicated his life to saving many lives of many of the patients who were in critical conditions. When my father moved to America to realize his American dream, he failed to further his career due to lack of funds. He wanted to attend an American medical school to get further training as a doctor and advance his technological knowledge in the field of medicine. Unfortunately, that did not happen, and I felt sorry for him. The incidence sparked an urge in me to find an opportunity and pursue public health with the major aim of saving lives and making the environment habitable.

I have worked with the McDonald house charities

where I participated in helping sick children fight their diseases, providing basic medical and dental care to the vulnerable members of the society. We also offered moral and emotional support to the less privileged families, as well as professional counseling to failing marriages within the community. We provided support to the seniors and conducted free medical checks on them. Besides, I have worked at Shands hospital and participated in a campaign where money was raised to assist the unfortunate members of the society in fighting life-threatening diseases and terminal illnesses.

My future goals are to open up a free clinic

at a world renowned hospital to treat the sick people from less fortunate families. The clinic will provide a free diagnosis of the terminal and life-threatening diseases to the patients, as well as free medical scans. The clinic will focus on providing treatment through therapies which do not involve the use of chemicals. Also, I plan on joining the global environmental organizations so that I can participate in the campaigns of making the world a habitable place. Another goal is to take part in movements that advocate for environmental sustainability and on the fight against polluting either sea, land, or air. My life philosophy is to stay on purpose both in my studies and career, promote environmental sustainability, and always seeking the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people.
