Utilizing information is required for improving outcomes and processes while lowering costs in order to redesign healthcare for the future. Therefore, influencing the field of informatics as a health provider necessitates a meticulous commitment to transparency and interoperability, novel approaches to health data, as well as patient empowerment.

A strategy for transparency and interoperability relies on the digitalization of medical records. Creating a program that permits the transfer of documents between all systems is advantageous for all parties involved since efficiency and secrecy are protected. (Weber). Therefore, improving EHR and PMS will ensure that there are smooth movement and even restrictions of records depending on the wish of the doctors. Besides, it is welcoming to come up with an ecosystem which can permit the connection of these technologies through training and awareness among staffs (Weber et al.).

Coming up with new approaches to health data is also another important concept in healthcare informatics. This strategy ensures that there is no captivating of health records in a silo (Protti 1-2). Consequently, it relieves patients from the pressure of feeling that their enclosed information might limit their health care options. Developing this ideology demands physicians engagement in building API platform to permit a user-friendly record sharing exercise.

Lastly, one can invest in heightening future healthcare informatics by empowering patients. Allowing the sick to play a proactive role in their well-being reduces the cost incurred by healthcare providers and caregivers (Protti 1-2). Empowering patients involves civic education and awareness on fitness, hygiene as well as nutrition requirements on day-to-day living.

In conclusion, future activities require physicians to replace some roles of pharmacists with technology. Spending less time on tasks that are capable of being automated will allow care givers to dedicate most of their efforts in giving service to the patient.
