Grey's Anatomy

Shonda Rhimes' Grey's Anatomy is a medical drama film with an American setting, written and directed by her. The majority of the film takes place at Seattle Grace Hospital, and it follows the fictional lives of the hospital's consultants, residents, interns, and attendings. Even though it is a medical drama, there are many plot twists, including relationship dramas, marital chaos, and a desire for dominance in the hospital, and interns' hopes to become excellent doctors in the future. It is a one-of-a-kind, high-quality series that air more than ten seasons, and 

and thus its significance in the film industry cannot be overlooked. This discussion will, therefore, focus on season thirteen episode one with one of the actor’s wedding as the discussion scene in analyzing the types of shots employed, lighting aspects and the kind of camera movement in giving more understanding to film production techniques.
Discussion
1.The scene has an over the shoulder type of shot as one actor's picture is taken over another one’s shoulder and it is usually used in films to add more attention and focus on the scene as the audience would develop a desire to want to know what these persons are discussing. The caption is also a representation of low key lighting, and its purpose is to add a chiaroscuro effect to the scene. Finally, a zoom-in type of camera movement is used here to create more focus on the actors.
2.;The medium shot is clear from the scene and its purpose in a film is to add more recognition and openness to the stage so that the audience can see actors clearly and interpret their expressions and gestures. It has utilized high key lighting to balance the concentration of light from the audience's view as discussed by (Millerson 2013). Additionally, one-shot type of movement has been used to create more focus and attention on the activities in the scene.
3. The caption represents a master shot since it has captured most of the background in the scene and its surroundings. According to (Cutting & Candan 2015), its purpose in the film is to add more association of the actors to the surroundings and help the viewers understand the view more.  High key lighting has also been applied to the scene to balance light concentration ratios. Moreover, the type of movement utilized is pan movement, and it is used to capture more options in the scene horizontally.
7.    This is also a point of view shot since the scene actors have been captioned in such a way all of them are facing different directions from the camera's perspective. This kind of shot adds editing aspects to the film especially the scene in question. The view has further been improved by mid key lighting for editing purposes. The type of movement applied to the stage is zoom, to bring closer the person of focus.
