The current education state in Texas is not up to the expected standards largely because most of the people in Texas are poor and cannot raise money to fund education for their children. Furthermore, the state government has not been adequately funding public school education. Demographics indicate by 2050 the population of Texas will be 55 million people which will be twice the current population. This indicates that education is quite crucial at the moment because this is the only way standards of living of current generation will be better. The state lacks adequate teachers especially for bilingual teaching in public schools and these calls for urgency by the state government to increase funding so as to hire more teachers in public schools. Previous lawmakers have cut state funding to district schools which delay critical building maintenance, and most schools charge higher fees on students to fund school programs. Therefore, Bitz should stage his campaign lobbying for residents to vote for her for her to bring more state funding for public schools that every child gains the best education. She should insist on undoing school funding cuts that the legislators instituted. Emphasizing on education by Bitz, the Republican aspirant will likely win her many votes from parents living in Texas.
